Seattle Gran Fondo (7:10 am ferry in Edmonds, 8:30 am start in Kingston)
Our
Seattle Gran Fondo showcases the unique scenery of
Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Start your with day with
breakfast aboard a Washington State ferry departing at 7:10 from
Edmonds (or drive to Kingston for the 8:30 am start.) The ride begins in Kingston and proceeds
through the hills of Kitsap County. Riders will enjoy a
beautiful rolling course that weaves along postcard
shorelines. The post ride festival at Kingston will include
live music, gourmet food, Sierra Nevada beer, and wine from local wineries. 30, 70 and 100 mile rides are offered.
Super Gran Fondo:
a spectacular one-way ride up Hurricane Ridge (same start times as the regular Gran Fondo)
In
addition to the Gran Fondo, our Seattle event also offers an
exclusive 100-mile Super Gran Fondo, limited to 500
riders. All event participants will ride the first 32 miles
together. Upon reaching Port Angeles, Super Gran Fondo riders
will break off from the group and climb up above sea level
through lush mountain meadows. Finish the ride with a timed
17-mile climb up the incredible Hurricane Ridge. The Super Gran Fondo is unique
because it is a one-way course – participants are treated to a
first class bus ride back to Kingston at the end of the ride.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to ride Hurricane Ridge.
